Yesterday, I thought I'd go out for a hike. My wife was working and the day seemed too nice to pass up even though I was still a bit sore from the prior day's 3.5 mile run.
I could have selected one of the more modest hikes, especially when going out on my own, but nope...didn't. I selected Druid Arch as my destination. It is one of the more popular destinations despite the round-trip distance of 10.8 miles and the severity of the hiking terrain. A lot of canyons to go up and down. A lot of rock scrambling especially at the end.
Today, though, I rest. I'm being Mr. Homemaker while the wife works as well. Dishes, Laundry, eventually driving 50 miles away for grocery shopping, etc.
Anyway, I'll keep this post short...and just let the pics do the talking. Remember, your lifestyle is what you make of it and your level of fitness can have a lot to do with getting better and better.
Kyle. . . I wish I could walk with you! Seriously it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on not taking the "easy way out" today and pushing yourself a bit.
Seriously. . . you ARE getting better and better.
